Working bodies
Southeast European Network of Advisory Services
is an association of agricultural advisory services, agricultural chambers, agricultural institutes, faculties and non-governmental organizations founded in Bulgaria on October 22, 2015.
SEASN operates in the area of its members, public and private advisory services, individual advisors as well as other agricultural institutions, non-governmental organizations and natural persons working in agriculture and rural areas can become members of SEASN.

The Executive Board of SEASN consists of members representing a wide range of agricultural institutions, advisory services, universities, and public bodies from Southeast Europe. The Board includes Agim Zuzaku (Economic Support Group), Alberta Zorko (CAFS/KGZS), Ana-Marija Špicnagel (IPS Konzalting), András Vér (Széchenyi István University), Tibor Banya (Gazda Kontroll Kft.), Cosmin Sălăsan (The Banat University of Agricultural Sciences), Eleni Zarokosta (Agricultural University of Athens), Igor Djurdjić (University of East Sarajevo), Ivanka Todorova (NAAS), Peter Krištof (Landwirtschaftskammer Kärnten), Vesna Milić (Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management of the Republic of Srpska), Zenel Bunjaku (IADK), and Zoran Lugić (Institut za krmno bilje). In accordance with the SEASN Statute, the President of SEASN, all Vice-Presidents, the President of the Supervisory Board, the General Secretary, the Expert Secretary, and the Head of the SEASN Main Office also participate in Executive Board meetings as contributors.
As a young association we have an impressive list of members with a lot of experience in projects: Advisory Service of Croatia, Banat University of Agricultural Sciences and Veterinary Medicine in Romania, Austrian Carinthian Chamber of Agriculture, Slovenian Chamber of Agriculture and Forestry, Hungarian Chamber of Agriculture (NAK), Serbian Institute of Agricultural Science, Ministry of Agriculture, of Forestry and Rural Development of Kosovo, National Agricultural Advisory Service of Bulgaria, Initiative for Agricultural Development of Kosovo, National Agency for Enlargement of Macedonia, Szecheny Istvan Egyetem from Hungary, Department for Advisory Affairs in Plant Industry Production and Livestock from Montenegro. SEASN operates in the Southeastern part of Europe, covering both European Union member states and non-EU countries. The network includes Slovenia, Croatia, Hungary, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Kosovo, Greece, Bulgaria, Romania, and partially Austria (limited to the Carinthia region). This wide operational area is crucial for fostering collaboration across diverse political, economic, and social environments, enhancing regional cooperation and knowledge sharing.

Infrastructure
The headquarters of the SEASN Association is in Zagreb, Ulica grada Vukovara 78 and operates in the territory of its members: Austria, Bulgaria, Croatia, Hungary, Kosovo, Macedonia, Montenegro, Romania, Serbia and Slovenia.
Dr. Sladjan Stanković, President of SEASN, is a researcher and agricultural advisor holding a PhD in Biotechnical Sciences (Entomology). He has over 25 years of experience in plant protection, IPM, phytosanitary systems, and agricultural policy. He works at the Institute for the Application of Science in Agriculture (IPN) in Belgrade as Coordinator for International Cooperation and a certified CECRA trainer. He is an active member of several professional bodies and international networks (SEASN, EUFRAS, GFRAS). He has participated in numerous FAO, World Bank, and EU projects and contributes to the development of AKIS, with expertise in phytosanitary systems, risk assessment, IPM, agricultural policy analysis, and food system transformation.
Igor Hrovatič is the Head of Service for the Development of Methods and Quality of Agricultural Advisory Work at the Chamber of Agriculture and Forestry of Slovenia (CAFS) and SEASN First Vice-President. He graduated in agriculture at the Biotechnical Faculty, University of Ljubljana. About 29 years of professional experience in the field of agriculture, nutrition, and RD issues (including agriculture, engineering, agricultural economics, phytosanitary issues, farm management, food technology), of which more than 4 years as director of CAFS. From 2019 to 2025, he has been the president of the SEASN network.
Domagoj Gorup is a project manager and Head of SEASN main office in Zagreb, he graduated in animal science and specialized in meat science at the faculty of agronomy in Zagreb. About 6 years of professional experience in project management, interactive innovation processes in advisory networks, food management, and meat processing technology. Currently, he is the project manager for several H2020 projects like I2connect, Stratus, AdvisoryNetPest, and ClimedFruit.
Prof. Dr. Snežana Janković, Vice-President of SEASN, is a senior researcher and expert in agricultural sciences with a PhD and extensive experience in research management, policy support, and international cooperation. She works at the Institute for the Application of Science in Agriculture (IPN) in Belgrade as Assistant Director for Science and has previously served as Director of the Institute. She has led and participated in more than 30 national and international projects and has collaborated with organizations such as FAO, the World Bank, USDA, and the European Union. Her expertise spans agricultural research, innovation systems, policy development, and capacity building, and she has made a significant contribution to strengthening advisory services, knowledge transfer, and regional cooperation
